What can I vaccinate against?

  • Tetanus

  • Equine Herpes Virus

  • Rotavirus

  • Hendra Virus

  • Salmonella


Non-infectious disease vaccination available

  • Oestrous control

HIGH RISK

  • Competition/Pleasure horses

  • High interaction with multiple horses

  • Likely physiological and physical stresses

  • Frequent travel


MODERATE RISK

  • Breeding horses/Moderate interaction horses

  • Related to management factors on farm such as

    • Stocking density

    • Movement of horses between properties

    • Other stresses


LOW RISK

  • Retired/Low interaction horses

  • Low risk of exposure

  • High consequences if exposed and not vaccinated though
